I'm really happy to hear she is eating. Sometimes it takes a while. Since she was skinny at the LFS I'm guessing she was not being fed enough or well, or was really stressed. Bring her back around and share some pics please

I just recenting pick up a female hystrix 6 day ago.I was just wondering if anyone out there have any idea how to get my female hsytrix eating again. She hasn't eating for about 6 day now. When I pick her up her disc was bitten by another fish but is healing slowly now. She don't look skinny and her tail is still fat. Does anyone have any advices to get her back on track to eating again. I have tried mp, sinking pellet, black worm and even ghost shrimp, but she hasn't even attempts to eat it. I thinking she might eat when the light is off or at night time but can't tell. Thanks all.

That's good that she's eating... It just take a little sometimes even though usually rays eat right off the bat!

She finally ate some chopped up strimps. I guess she needed some time to adjust to the new tank enviroments.
