Huge GATF... small tank I dont get it.

I could careless of what people "think" of me. Either people know me, or people don't know me. Do I have the attitude "I'm so much better than everyone?" Did I go mouth off and called other "pest?" Perhaps you need to work on following your own advice, instead of talk but can't do..

too many people hold preconceived ideas of how things should be, and never think beyond that. I'm glad you're not one that is stuck in the box. I've asked people in the past, if you put a human baby in a 6x6 room, does that mean it won't grow big and stunt? probably not right?
and no matter how big of a tank we provide, we're all guilty, as we cannot provide anything remotely near what their natural habitats have to offer, unless you're a betta keeper.
so anyone wanting to keep a tigerfish, armatus, gars, barramundi, nile perch, any pangasius, redtail catfish, anything monsterfish related are all guilty of self indulgence. We as humans, apparently enjoying our power to obtain and subdue other living beings. Like keeping tigers in a cage, in a circus which we all grew up watching, fish that we cannot have, fish we cannot keep. If you're into keeping more manageable fish, like bettas, guppies, some of the smaller cichlids, hats off to you, and there are many websites that cater to that as well. The guy who owns this gatf is a huge baller...I don't understand why he would put this poor fish in such a small tank....He has 100,000 dollars of fish in his other vids...
people who live in some of the Asian countries, like Japan, Hong Kong do not have a lot of land. And it would not be feasible to move into the countryside just to keep a big fish right?
Like I said, no matter how big of a tank, it will not be big enough, the fish is just a fish, better in his tank then being dragged ashore by Jeremy Wade, don't you think?
Like the Ray in your avatar, that you wish you had, probably would prefer living in Sao Felix, instead of being selectively bred for more spots, and shipped back and forth, or maybe not.
Those are too very good points I didn't really think of the first and the second is a very funny yet true statement.
Some people are able too keep the fish that you mentioned in decent condition (like Johnptc) and for those who aren't, your first statement applies.
...So apparently there is nothing "manageable" in between a barramundi and guppy.....I'm learning something new everyday.
well, my statement is a generalized one at best. there are fish species that will fit into everyone's budget, tank size, moral obgliations, personal agendas and such, so to each their own. I think as long as you're not trying to torture the animal, like I don't care for tatooed fish, surgically mutilated fish. I don't enjoy watching people put a large fish for piranhas to bite then gloat over it, as it suffers a slow bloody death, but I try not to judge.
