Huge Pacu in FL

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Happened again here in MN. The news came to the store for an ID. I am sure they weren't wanting to hear PACU.

Yeah, I dont like pacu either (not sure I hate them.... I hate the hell out of Blood Parrots though) but I don't want them to die out... (Blood parrots maybe.... LOL)

LArge Pacu's would be so cool to catch. I know of only one place that I personally have witnessed a pacu of monsterous size, but could never get it to hit anything I threw its way. I would love to have gotton that beast online. And ever since they posted the area I have yet to find or meet anyone that lives there that could give me access to fish there yet. I tell you if I ever win the lottery I'm gonna buy me a Florida Golf Course and post a Hugh sign stating 18 to 21 hole course, NO GOLFING ALLOWED!!! FISHERMEN WELCOME!!!:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

They are considered to be a very tasty foodfish but are terrible in non-native areas, they have also killed two people in New Guinea, Pond farms where the net workers tend to not wear shorts, ouch.

Ditto.

Y'all don't even live here.

I like pacus but they don't belong in Florida. No, I don't live in Florida but that does not mean I cannot care about its native ecosystems.

And for those who call em ugly. Ugly is monster, especially when it is large and ugly.
