thanks man, i think he was eating anchovies last night, when the other rays start dog pile him he will try to eat as fast as he can. He has a while to go to be as thick as the others.

I still hand fed him worms with feeding stick though afterward. Doing great so far, and fitting in!


oh and drip system being installed this weekend on this tank.
 
good luck on the pluming on the drip if the tank is in the bedroom. i've been running a drip for my rays for couple years now and the funny thing is that i have not change my carbon filter for a long time now no chloramine no chlorine? i do like to run drip on the slow side though because i do water changes too. i wish i had a ray tank in my bedroom something about having fish in the basement just isn't the same as having fish on the first floor.my vote is the flower too nice collection

thanks i do love to have it in the bedroom. i have hard wood floors in my house and cannot have a leak.... that is what is concerning me with adding a drip.

hystrix all came from pedro (aquascape) little over a year ago. i would think the biggest is around 2 years old.
 
right now i have 1 heater and it is suction cupped to the top rim of the tank. With 1 heater, and equipment, i am running about 78 right now. I was thinking since i have well water, the water will be cold. i may need to add another once i set up the drip.
 
U got a pic? I just wanted to see because i know how people are scared about heater burn, or is it a stealth heater your using?
