Humanly killing fish

Now to start, I didn't want to do this. I had my fish in a smaller size container temporarily until they could be put in the pond. Now their all sick and dying.

How can I kill them without making them suffer? They wil be in about 10 gallons of water.

Ive been trying to sell them for weeks now. I didn't notice this until it was to late

I dont have clove oil, what else can I use?

Maybe an overdose of anethestedic. Im sorry im reading a vet book for school and it was talkin bout how to put animals to sleep and how it was painless but if you dont have clove oil then i doubt you have that.lol

anyway that is instant is the best IMO. use your imagination, i have had posts deleted for spelling it out for some reason.

second, IMO, would be using something like clove oil or putting them ia freezer with water killing them that way.

how big are the fish????

Human drugs (cant think of legal ones right now) would likely give your fish a peaceful death... Or tranquilizer.

Clove oil to put to sleep, then vodka to kill them once they're knocked out. Freezing is painful, supposedly.

If you don't have clove oil, go buy some to have on hand. Most drugstores have it.

clove oill then the garbage disposal/knife...

ive done clove oil then vodka... it woke them up and they did not like it at all..
also done clove oil and then the freezer... it was alright but it took forever with them out of water...
clove oil and near freezing water and the freezer worked but it still took a while...
