Hunting is still so widely common in the United States because it is valuable. You may not think it is but it is.
"Wildlife managers aim to use the best available science to balance the needs of wildlife with their perception of the needs of people. Wildlife management takes into consideration ecological principles such as carrying capacity of the habitat. Most wildlife management is concerned with the preservation and control of habitat, but other techniques such as reforestation, predator control techniques such as trapping, re-introduction of species or hunting may also be used to help manage "desirable" or "undesirable" species."
Also I read somewhere (no source) that around 65% of every states DNR funding comes from Hunting and Fishing. Fishing is the largest participator sport in the United States and many people keep what they catch to feed themselves.
. I voted option 4 because i am so busy fishing i have never been on a proper large game hunt haha
i can't put the fishing rod down. When i was a teenager i use to terrorize the birds and squirrels with my red rider bb gun killing for fun on a daily basis
