Hybrid babies

Hey all,
a few weeks ago, my male sajica and female convict/spilurus cross laid eggs. Unfortunately my vampire pleco, sultan pleco and orange pike were too much for the pair to fight, and the eggs were consumed.

A few days ago, the pair did the deed once again. This time the eggs hatched. I pulled the terra cotta pot (where the eggs were laid), wigglers and mom out and put them into my quarentine tank. Attached are pics of both dad and mom with the fry. They are happily swimming around and devouring cyclopese.

He said the convict was a cross so begin with. Besides, some people like having unique fish. What do you want him to do with all the fry? Euthanasia? You are always bashing hybrids. You know this starts problems so why do you do it? You should change your screen name to "hybrid Nazi" so everyone knows your stance on hybrids...

I understand why you get frustrated when you can't find a pure breed and when they are mislabeled as pure... we've all been there. But if we are going to keep fish that don't normally cohabitate, hybrids will occur. If they are labeled as hybrids and broadcasted as such, what's the problem?

I think hybrids are wonderful, so long as they arent put through cruel fates such as dyeing the Blood Parrot. But Flowerhorns are probably the most wonderful hybrid to date.

personly i think harvey is just pointing out and looking ahead of everyone else, i would advise not to but these on the market but its up to you. carnt call my a hybrid nazi i have a hybrid its a con/sajica labled as a sajica hes cool but verry anoying as all he want to do is breed. your hybrid looks like its got abit of HRP in her.
