fishfreak when do you suggest I take the parents out?

i've had good success of pulling the fry shortly after the SWARM, just (1week) after the wigglers become free swimming.

to catch them I divide the parents again wile still in tank with frys. i call it "swoops", but you take a real small mesh net (like for "catfish" & cories or brineshrimp), and simply "swoop" out net fulls of the still swarming fry. make sure you have another tank up and running with sponge filter & air pump with stone, and good air flow into tank. also make sure the water is from the spawning tank. i use bare-bottom 30gal tanks for frys.

I have some video and pics but cant load them on my comp. from phone.
send a pic(text) message to your email address. that's how I do it.

The jagxtrimacs are swimming around now. The midasxparrot eggs were unfertilized and the parrot ate them. Will be moving the babies in the next day or so..

The fry are all free swimming now. I have been feeding them both hikari's first bites and my homemade fish food. They seem to be growing quite quickly. I have also been doing daily water changes about 20%.

I know they aren't a hybrid but, I awoke this morning to my Texas pair spawning. Her colors have changed. She looks really cool.
