Yeah its shameful that respectocon's really colorful but its name is so g@y because it is only half convict, half HRP... HRPs which has same coloration of respectocon..i think?

I don't mind them, but I can hate them especially if it's a thread about them in the wrong section...

there are several thread about this and its also in the wrong section. we have a sub forum dedicated to hybrids :)

if he put it in the hybrid section every1 would say they like them. i dont like hybrids and i dont post in the hybrid section

some of the odd crosses i think look pretty cool but i hate fhs they look so unnatural especially the ones with the grotesque "koks" i really hate blood parrots too

I going with dislike. My problem with them is that you have to take the breeders word as to what was mixed. Then who knows how they will behave? When I was keeping Africans I bought a Dragons Blood Peacock and it acted more like a Red Devil then my Red Devil does.

I suppose it's beauty in the eye of the beholder. some flowerhorns (ones without massive koks) i fine rather pretty. Don't quite like blood parrots, these things can't close their mouths.

I personaly don't keep hybrids, but I don't see anything wrong w/ it as long as people aren't throwing them into the wild. Think about dogs its almost the same thing. I don't like blood parots though. They look like deformed gold fish.

nowhere near similar, this example always pops up during a hybrid debate. making hybrid fish is more akin to breeding cats with dogs. all dog breeds originate from a single source and just have preferred traits bred into different lines by different breeders through selective breeding, more similar to breeding JD's that have the recessive blue gene to get EBJD fry.

i like them. i have crossed a red bay snook and pure jeff rapps trimac and the fish are looking pretty cool right now. i know exactly whats in them and whoever i sell to knows exactly whats in them. its up to those people to make sure the next people know what they are made from. i also i have a pink con crossed with a blood parrot and came out mostly regular con looking but much bulkier.
