is he in a 10 gallon tank?? bro get him out of there, he is gonna commit suicide by running into the sides of the tank and killing himself....That tank is way to small for him, they need to SWIm..they are a flighty fish and they are super fast..Mark my words he will kill himself..what ya can do is paint or cover the sides of the tank to help with his skittishness..

yeah the sides are painted. what?! tank looks alright sized to me.

:headbang2nice pic up!

2nd tank is a lil on the small side dude, but it will be ok for a month or so but needs does need to be moved soonish....

its your fish but I beg to differ..the can go from 0-60 in like 2 seconds and can ram that side of the glass with so much force, it will KILL IT!!! Good Luck..I love the fish but they dont call it Goliath for nothing.....:headbang2

oh it's a 20g, 2x1x1. yeah it's a tad bit small but i'll have a 4x1.5 up asap now that i know this.

lol, it's 3.5", and from what i've heard and seen, they grow @ an inch in 2 months. so i think i'll have more than enough breathing space with the 4'. it'll eventually get a larger tank when i feel it needs it, or i have the luxary of getting one just for this fish, but i don't believe a 12" specimen will need a 8' tank.

nope i havent. but everyone i know keeps 12" and above specimens in 4'-6' tanks, with no problems. so i don't see why there's a need for such a big tank
