Nice looking Scomb!! Love seeing members with one! They're such a mysterious predator fish! I covet mine as a show piece in my livingroom!! Everyone that comes over is shockingly amazed with it. I just got done 15 minutes ago showing my buddy eating a 3" silverside in the dark and he screamed, I quote "WHOW that was BAD ACE!!!! I apreciate the ones who have a scomb! Ill keep mine for as long as it lives!

Still growing and almost flawless. Ide like to say 6". I have some buenos aeres tetras in there for feeders.
They definitely don't get the respect they deserve. I have a trio and absolutely love them! Kind of a pain trying to get them off live, but they're still worth it!

Yeah they're an underrated fish, I like scombs and tats just as much as i like armatus lol.
The payara that started it all for me as a scomb was my first.I'd love to see a big one in a tank.
Well i hope to have mine long enough to post a picture of that. I finally got my eating "some" prawns, and i lure silversides. But it usually wont even try to eat until lights out. Pain in the butt. My scomb has eaten a tetra a night, they are all about 1.5-2". I recently rehomed my h. Vitattus so this fish can have its own tank. Working good now. Swims all over the tank and his nose rub and eye rub is going away by the second it seems!!

Same here! I've already passed the 1 year random death mark with the 3 that I have. Only 1 is eating tilapia filets, 1 looks but doesn't do anything and the last one could care less
