ANybody ever see a ray only breath out of one side? My new hystrix is only using half of his lungs to breathe. It kind of looks like 1 side of his body is messed up, Eye looks droopy, not much control of one side of the disc.. any ideas?

both spiracles are moving but 1 side of the lung is not rising as it breathes, it ate a little earlier, but not much appetite.
check for argulus fish lice... if you see any its not a big deal dont panic just get yourself some anchors away (dimilin) the lice like to hide under the disk and in the spiracles.
i treated with prazi pro about a week ago. I think that will kill lice too.
He just ate a pc of worm and i noticed his lung was working again, but it seems like he is acting weird. Disc is kinda out of control.

Id be surprised if he is breathing out of one lunch because they dont hav any.

I hope all goes well. Ive noticed my guy has not been eating as much since I dosed with Prazi, but all else seems normal. He is active, but just not gorging himself like he did before. I think its because the prazi is killing the live BWs so maybe they smell funky or something to him? Im starting to feed very little but more often until the Prazi treatment is complete to avoid the worms being killed before he eats them.
