Hystrix pups born in Denmark.

Hey all..

Just got the news of 3 hystrix pups born (last year) here in Denmark. But he kept his hystrix pair in a small 75 gallon and did only change 25% of the water once every month? He had a power failure so the rays all died. :/ The 3 pups was sold, but he told the new owner to change 25 % of the water once a month. They all died.. -.-
I am trying to get in contact with him now.

But he breed with them..

I think the the reason he was breeding with them was the lack of water changes.. Mabye 50 % evey half month is better for them..?

Well how would you explain his success then..? I know that everyone else don’t have much luck breeding with them.. And his pair was shooting out pups like a machinegun..

i cant explain it but the main breeders are not doing this and breeding rays...

Yhea but are they breeding Hystrix? Not all rays are the same you know..

I have never heard it with rays but i have heard that larger wc spread father apart are better it is saposed to add bacteria. Awsome pups though very lucky
