  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
binox will affect some of your filtratiion and i have had no ill effects from maracyn/maracyn2 on my filter.. choice is yours on what you wanna use...

Update on the eyes. Have you treated and seen any improvement?

no i have not, but i am patiently awaiting my med's i had to order online, and since he has been this way for some time, i did not overnight the meds just did ground, should get it this week.

tried the macryn 2, been 1 week. still has slightly clowdy eyes.... Maybe the amount of ammonia in the bag caused his eyes to permatly be like this??? once again acts fine and eats well....Maybe there is no reason to be concerned...

when you use maracyn you should use them in combo.... triple sulfa is worth a shot...

Isn't triple sulfa Ross's "miracle cure"?

Binox worked on mine. About 90% cleared up in 3 days, did water change and didn't
treat again. The rest cleared up on its own. Maybe it isn't fungal.

As for as sulfa, Ross states that when you don't have access to injectable antibiotics,
nitrofurazone is the most useful. Don't know how updated this is
since his books were published. Absorbtion and Bio Filtration being
the main reasons I assume.
Especially since it only effects gram negative fungus.

Like Nic stated Maracyn/Maracyn II would cover both positive and negative.
