Black worms have not got here yet for some reason. I chopped a red wiggler into three pieces an dropped in the tank when I got home from work today. He went right away after them and ate all three no problem. This is great for me.. he seems to switched over.. I will mix my red wigglers with the blacks when they get here

At this point I wouldn't switch back to black worms but mixing should work. Once they are on earthworms they should be set. Start to offer small bites of tilapia after a week or so of good eating. Once they start eating that as well feel free to mix and match. Good luck.
good to hear! feed her enough to were you see its stomach "bulge" a bit. Will gain weight in no time.
Dunno if the stomach ever bulged yesterday but she ate a pile of worms. Two big scopes. I fed her again today when I got home and she went right back to eating. The back of her disk right by her tail has two little bones showing. I'm hoping they disappear soon lol. I'm going to keep her for a while when I got the hang of this and the bigger tank here.. I want to get another. How hard are leo pups to come across? I hear they stay around the 14" mark growth for the disk also, and I would like to grab one.
It takes some time for the bones to vanish, but if she's eating, it will happen. Don't expect to see them gone in a couple days.....
