Hystrix stingray

Would a 4ft by 18 by 24 be good for a hystrix stingray. Also would this tank be any good for breeding a pair?

You could keep a young one in there for awhile, but would eventually have to upgrade. And no to a breeding pair.

What would be the minimum for a pair?

I would say 6' x 3' footprint.

Are they fairly easy compared to a motoro. I am interested I buying one for 85

They require about the same care as any other ray.

I highly doubt its an actual hystrix if its only 85, its probably a orbignyi or retic under the name of hystrix. Brazilian hystrix run probably closer to 175+

I grew out a small group of WC true hystrix in a 4x2' foot print which was only ever going to be a grow out tank, after a year it soon got a little crowded and they were moved into a 7'x30" foot print.
