1 think I’ve learned from my stubborn papaw- always, ALWAYS negotiate the price and get it down as much as possible. Even if it’s 5 bucks less than the original offer than that way you got 5$ to buy yourself a snack and drink after moving it. Try to get that down to 125$. If they’re already asking that little for that size tank then most likely they need it gone soon or ran out of space.
Lol the way I grew up is that no matter what, there’s no harm in asking for less.I don’t know if I’d ask for less, unless there is something horribly wrong. That’s already a steal!
I’m already basically stealing from him I would never talk down this price. I wouldn’t even talk down 300 to be honest. It’s hard enough to even find anyone selling a 90 with a stand let alone for this price.
Honestly this is the most annoying thing ever as a seller. I’ve sold many things and when someone tries this I let them leave without or it or go get the money.looking at that tank- whoever it is is just done with it. If 125 takes it- good enough.
Of course there’s no harm in pulling out 5 20s and a 10 and saying “can we make it happen for 110- I’ll have to go hit the ATM otherwise”
… bring a buddy to help move it and “loan me 20 dude” so you don’t have to fake an atm trip if he says no.
I agree- I do lots of bst and I don’t piss around with scammers. I will sell to them but I make sure I get my money before anything gets transferred over. Often you know who the scammers are if you have your wits about you.Honestly this is the most annoying thing ever as a seller. I’ve sold many things and when someone tries this I let them leave without or it or go get the money.
If you want something less than advertised then at least ask before showing up and expecting it cheaper bc you”didn’t bring enough cash”.
