I did not know that. But, honestly, I don't post much even on the Canuck forum anymore; like a lot of the members, I am there mostly for the Equipment Exchange. Buying selling on an American forum would be difficult or impossible, partially because the nature of the items make cross-border deals difficult, and partially because even paying for stuff would be a relative hassle. Dealing with other Canadians on a Canadian forum, worrying about only one country's insane laws and regulations and being able to easily pay via Interac in Canadian dollars is much simpler. I just don't have it in me to become an international wheeler-dealer.
Our forum also has a robust system of trader ratings and reviews, which adds a lot of confidence to deals made there.
