Wow, great attitude. And seriously, "new outfits"? Take them all back, buy a knife and some beef jerky, and then spend the rest of the money on a birthday gift.

A knife and beef jerky, sorry but not my style. anyways, my dad seriously is one of those people that has everything (except time) so he is very difficult to shop for. I will get him a card, show up and pay for dinner with money I don't have. I have to return my boot cut jeans and a pair of suspenders because they don't fit properly so I will spend that on him. Everyone happy now?

no, i am working my way through college with the help of financial aid but that is it. the only thing my dad is "paying" for is insurance and that is only because it is covered by his company. Not saying that i don't love him, just saying that I support myself.

Stone the bloody crows, you go out to buy a gift, and you come back with several new outfits. Yous sound like a shiela, lol.

Realistically for people who have everything, even just a gift card to a store or even red lobster/other resteraunt is usually a great gift. Doesn't have to be much $20-$30.00. I understand not everyone's rich, and there are alot of people who live check to check.

It's not about making us happy. Most of us don't really care. We're just responding to your thread with our thoughts.

/suspenders are for old guys who need more than a belt

OK, then get your dad a knife and some beef jerky, and get yourself a pedicure if you have enough left over...

I'm paying for dinner & paying him a surprise visit.

also just an FYI, I can rock a pair of suspenders like you would not believe, athey are not just for old people. some slim black ones with silver clasps and a white dress shirt and white pinstripe slacks can go a long way. I was wearing suspenders in my head shots and they look good.
