Nice catch what type reel is that ? Think its Daiwa ? I recently picked one up have not used it yet but plan to this week

im a serious fisherman but i respect the sport enought to release fish i dont eat, said that there are also stupid people who kill the fish on the seen thinking there a bada$$ and dont give 2 sh**'s about it and leave well i get mad but i cant do anything about it.

Alone we are powerless together We are Strong.

I think the MFK has helped a bunch of people see that animal abuse is lol abuse... and should not be done. if only there was a way to get the MFK on TV/News we could get to more people that way.

talk about a dead thred from awhile back lol.

Well I do understand accidents happen, but passing it and dropping it 3 times, and passing it for pictures is what got me. IF it were an accident and they took care of the fish and put it back - I'd be more understanding. Thats just my point of view.

btw - we can do something - report it =]

As for the hook thing - Yes it probably does hurt - weather or not it hurts more - I dont know. The hook is something that just has to be excepted if you are going to go fishing. I was talking more in the context of how people mistreat their catches.

totally understandable ^^ i made freinds with all the fish and game out here. im not a rat but alot of people keep short sized fish and more then their limit allows because nobody cares.

as for hooks it doesnt hurt that bad..i have had fish shake their heads and put treble hooks in my fingers. the inicial insert doesnt really hurt and then it goes numb. getting the hook out is the fun part, but i am guessing since the membrane of a fishes mouth are thinner it hurts alot less or not at all.
