DO NOT CUT OR PICK APTAISIA!!! aptaisia reproduces by letting go of wherever it is hanging onto and floating to a new place in the tank it leaves behind a tiny piece of itself where it was previously and a new one starts growing there. if you cut them in half you are looking at releasing dozens of tiny pieces into your tank which will all latch on somewhere and start to grow and all of a suddon you have hundreds in your tiny little tank. like i said before if your not careful and take immediate action they will take over your tank.

i was going to pull them off, but they sucked into the rock...i read somewere to burn them off...that way it kills them and only a small part of the rock and not the whole rock...so i burn them...we'll see how well that works...

i was looking for pepperment shrimp before i burned them, didn't find any everyone said we have them on order...so i just burned them...me being a pyro i geuss i was more then happy to burn something...:grinno:...as fire cleans all...

For a 20, i think that should be enough.

For aptasia, boil some water and suck up in syringe. Inject, done.

Be sure to get inside of it, right in the middle. So begin squirting and finish with syringe forcefully jabbing the inside of it.

i'll try that if they come back...i just torched their holes....seemed to have worked...atleast for now...

i thought sticking them only increased the likely hood that they may spread?

Hrm, I got a custom clean up crew for my 29 from reefcleaners site and they suggested a heck of a lot more snails and crabs than that. 15 crabs and about 30 various dwarf snails and a few limpets. I say you could add a bit more than 4 crabs and 2 snails.
