sorry...but there is no way you could mistake the dwarf frogs with any other species. Their entire body looks different than anything else. I would never look at those labels. Today people do not take responsibility for their actions. They expect that others care for evrything.

frequently experience is the only way to gain the ability to recognize subtle differences in specimens. I've even kept dwarf clawed frogs and its easy to make an off hand mistake and confuse a dwarf and standard as the same when the regular is the same size. Honestly despite reading so much on apistogramma most of them look overwhelmingly similar to me. One day I'll get to keep and breed them and discern those differences for myself, until then I'm guessing at best.
The point here is to NICELY say something, this forrum is a place to learn and share, not be an @$$.. you have a point, but there is a better way to get it across then to just open ur mouth and spill words everywhere without a filter.. ive been here a few years and never once come off like u did in your first post on this thread, maybe you should rethink ur position and chill..
That being said..I do agree somewhat with the fact that people need to take responsibilities more for what they do and not point fingers which is done more then it should be, BUT on here atleast, its a place to be civil and let the mods sort it out. After all thats what they are here for among other things.

i take full responsibility for taking the wrong frog home for one day.. as for the tank full of little frogs that will be mistreated, i feel bad for them.. hence the venting.. i only felt the need to point the finger at the fish store AFTER i pointed my finger at myself.. now that things r clear, thank u for all the polite and understanding people who r trying to help me with my problem

To be honest, i still use my brother to double check my guessing and ideas BEFORE i act on them..in fact it was just yesterday i was corrected by him (mind you he is younger) but thats just part of the learning process..With CICHLA, i ALways have the upper hand, but now that ive gotten into some chichlasoma species and have them all in my 125, he has the upper hand. Its a give and take, and you just halfta be patient with yourself and learn this the best way for you so you can be a smarter "FISH NERD" lol... and no worries on the little venting rant, we all have our days, just know there will always be the SMART people around to throw in their 2 cents..tough skin makes for a good day

its not the information you presented him, its how you did it.. AGAIN, theres a NICE way to say everything... and no one is freaking out, just simply saying that not everyone is a frog EXPERT. Nor are they an expert on every species that is posted about on this site, THEREFORE if they make a mistake, or have made one in the past, there is NO reason to bash them. Using nice words and staying calm (as i have done) shows your willing to teach and show them how to become better fish keepers rather then upset and turn them into trolling kids with a "vast" knowledge on every topic
look...it was not intended to sound harsh. It's my way to talk and i normally say things very direct and straight forward.
We all need to chill out. We all make mistakes. We must learn from them and move on. Finger pointing gets us no where.
