That sucks, sorry to hear about your snail. I think you learned your lesson and it sucks some people trust and rely on employees working at their LFS/LPS when really 90% of them don't know jack. Best to do your own research and not believe what they tell you than to believe them and regret it
Biggest clue: If you bought an albino frog, it's the larger african clawed frog. There are no albino dwarf frogs known to date.
African clawed frogs have 'buggier' eyes than the dwarf frogs that have eyes flatter and more closely set into their skulls.
Dwarf frogs have more webbing between the 'fingers' of their forelegs. And, their waists appear leaner than their bulbous-waisted african clawed cousins.
We all need to chill out. We all make mistakes. We must learn from them and move on. Finger pointing gets us no where.
There are leucistic dwarf clawed frogs though.
