i am surprised, cons are so under rated!!!!!!!!

i have a few cons in my 225(uk)g which has a lot of other huge fish
2x 10"+ Oscars
1x 8" Green terror
1x 10"+ midasxRD or RD or midas (i don't know)
1x 5"+ red texas
8x 2"-6" nandopsis tetracanthus
3x 6"ish jags (all are male)
and a lot more

and yet they have bred successfully and have been tending fry for longtime i guess
as i saw the fry for the first time yesterday and they are free swimming and are at least a 1/4"
hats off to cons
one of the parents is a black con male he is the dominant one among the cons and has nice nuchal hump
and the mother is a pink con who is all beauty in those pretty colors

my bro had a trio he caught to feed his 8 RB's in a 180 somehow their was a pair and spawned and kept the RB's in the other half of the tank. the third wheel got eaten on the second day. also the RB's were twice the size of the cons.I really hate cons but after seeing this I give them a little more respect.

This pair breeds with these guys just fine...I have to take out the fry, or they would get too big and start costing me money...lol There are also some FH's and a HUGE pleco and a big ol' Raphael that did not make the pic....

Haha...the only reason that people under rate ANY fish is because they haven't kept them to their full potential in a decent environment.
