I just recently bought some loaches and was looking at unique pattern and came across this picture! Holy loach that thing is insane!

I believe that pic with the aro was posted a few years ago in a thread on here about large clowns. Definitely impressive.
This is a pic someone posted on a FB group a while back. Believe they said it was taken at the California Academy of Science.View attachment 1179565
I was just shocked I like the fact these guys live like 10 maybe 15 years and easy fish to keep. They won't bother anyone and look nice. I personally saw one at 8" for 60$ at a lfs and I thought that was pretty large. Your 11" must be awesome. Now that's impressive.
Puts my 11" individual to shame!
Did you grow it that big? How long do you think my 2-3" loaches will get that big? 5 years ?
Oh really! Awesome I like fish who live long I sold my Midas because I didn't want to see him die he was old. I had him for 6-7 years and bought him at 11-12" so probably 1-2 years for that size. He was healthy and strong but my 200 gallon I didn't think was good enough for a 15.5" beast.More like 10+ years. And they can live 20-25 years, with some people reporting even longer.
