The only way that i would buy rays over the net/through the air would be if I got a picture of the exact ray that I was recieving form the seller....
Something should be done in case like these when someone is taken for at least 4-5 hundered dollars.....
This isnt the first bad thing that I have heard about this seller......

Ive seen some very nice rays from you and some very happy customers too. $400 for a yepezi
you should have known better.
the other problem is that Yepezi can get very large unlike Scobina. Its the equivilant of selling a Pacu as a Piranha.

i ordered 2 scobina garmin r-105 from tfd..i recieved the 2 rays in the first post..attempts have been made to ease the pain by darin..i have recieve 2 shipments containing 1 each 12" black aros and 1 shipment with a doa marbled ray.theres been alot of things going on in the mean time with this and tfd but as my wife reminded me tonite, i bought on-line..she feels i dont have a leg to stand on..i'm to blame for sending $$$$$..
i feel i placed alot of faith in tfd to provide me with a pair of scobina as ordered and promised(after all they have been selling fish for 36years).in almost all online deals,your kinda relying on the other party to show honesty and integrity and do whats right.i was obviously to quick to send payment without pictures/gaurentees.i have dealt with many on-line dealers and this is the second to bite me. (the first was a 450g aquarium from a ebay seller, its on my garage floor in pieces) and now this.. i will be more diligent about getting pictures and gaurentees before ordering from dealers again..i have dealt with many here on mfk and until this had nearly perfect results.
heres what i've gotten to date for my $800..2 rays in pictures at beginning of this thread, 2 black aros in 2 shipments and a doa ray shipment..as you can see, an attempt was made to "satisify" me. I really wish i'd have recieve 2 scobina from the beginning as promised and not had all this drama.
lastly, theres a listing on tfd's stocklist as of right now that says scobina german r-105..$400. sure would like to see a picture of these!! i've not seen one to date..anyone want to buy some and see what grab bag they get?
your wife is right, you should know better to buy without pics!!!!! at least tfd is trying, black aros are not cheap at all and hard to find, doa's happen unfortunatly, so you should just suck it up and let it go.
scorbina's are extremly hard to get and to my knowledge tfd is not a captive breeder of scorbinas the only way anyone can access one!
