He is right most species of catfish can fast for months on end. :)

thats make me Less worried thanks .... they are active i just wonder from where they get the Energy to move like that without food

ive had big cats not eat for ages in the past my irwini didn't seem to eat for about four or five months , had cats that ive not seen for three months let alone eat , cats can definitely reserve energy for good few months I wouldn't worry too much about the eating just yet

yeah but they aren't a normal catfish they are paroon sharks !! is they are like all cat fish ?? i have a calaris cat fish in other 55gal tank and its eating alot every day 2 time and her belly get full !!! so catfish are not like each other

I see how clueless you are my friend. This would be a simple explanation for you. Paroon sharks are in the catfish family, it's like a Red Tail Arowana, Green Arowana, And Silver Arowana are all arowanas. Yes they do have individuality, but also have characteristics which is found solely for an aro, likewise for a catfish. Though it doesn't mean that a catfish named Paroon sharks are now to be called as genuine sharks, no. They're not real sharks, they are still catfish. Catfish in nature would be predatory, it means it would be carnivorous, and as a carnivore you wouldn't have all the days to be at luxury to have a buffet of what ever food the fish would want to eat, unless it's in season or the fish would eventually hunt it's food or wait and predate food according to what kind of way a catfish eats.
Simply means, in the wild, there are times that food is scarce, means they have to go fasting for weeks up to months in order to survive. They're design to be like that, and they are like that.

The very least everyone could give you, for your benefit is to do your assignments first. To read, to discover, to interact (forums/persons/ other media for you to communicate) about any fish fish. To research, to budget all the things needed, you'll eventually do some DIY projects, patiently waiting for progress, trial and error moments (such as now), and hope for the fish to do the rest.

We have a ocean of information within the reach of your fingertips, it's called the internet. I'd like you to use that, utilize it to the fullest.
