your in jordan, its hot there right!? why not hand dig a big pond and get a liner for next to nothing?
 
Depends on where he is in Jordan. In most regions it gets really cold in winter nights but if he is near Aqaba (Red Sea) it will work.
 
jordan isn't hot !! its not in Africa just a normal weather in summer we have 28-33c in winter we have 5 to -5c even in aqaba its hotter than any regions here but even in winter aqaba is a bit cold !! and i'm in amman the capital !! other wise i don't have a space for a pond i live in small apartment with my self i'm in university

also the problem solved they eat fine now !!
 
i have 55g tank i had in it a 7-8" calrias catfish ... i want to empty the tank and have some small oscras in it so i think the calrias is ready ti live in the 150g tank with the paroons and the other calrias so i put it in there

as i wake up in the morning i found the belly of one of the paroons huge ... very big and the calrias isn't there so he ate it !! i'm surprised how can the paroon ate 20cm fish !!!!!!!

now what should i do to the paroon ?? is it normal to stay like that with huge belly ?? and whow much time that calarias catfish need to Decays ?? and i need to feed other paroon and i'm affriad that the paroon who ate the fish will eat with his brother !! and that will make the problem worse
 
LOL, Paroons eating anything they can fit in their mouth. Paroon will be fine and probably won't need to eat for a while. You can't put anything with a paroon that will fit in his mouth as it will always end bad. That's the reason why not too many keep paroons as they will eventually eat anything that is not bigger then them.
 
But that calrias was bigger than the paroon mouth !! i know that the paroons eat anything can fit with there mouth already but my cat was way bigger it was 20cm my paroon mouth is about 7-8cm ... unless he ate it longitudinally from it tail to the head !!

but i need to feed the other paroon !! how can that will done without the paroon that eath the cat eat with the other paroon

As stated earlier in this thread, they can stand to miss a meal from time to time. Wait for the paroon's belly to return to normal before feeding the tank again. It should only take a few days for the clarias to be fully digested.

The clarias is long and skinny so he probably sucked it in like spaghetti. Don't worry the paroon won't eat any more for now as he is already full of clarias catfish.
