I still believe that as Americans, we are supposed to be decent people, even if others are not, crimes against American citizens maybe punished, they may even be avenged, but the indiscriminant murder of civilians and noncombatants is is something that I do not and cannot support, nor can I support the turning of our idealistic country into a ravening conqueror, latter day Rome we are not, and hopefully we never will be. I support our troops and those who risk so much to defend our nation, I spent a lot of years as one of them. I do however, have a few qualms about the things our politians do in the name of America.

thats just it< there are no non-combatants. Any one of the man, woman or child hardley takes a moments pause before strapping a bomb to themselves and running at our troops. You guys watch to much liberally controlled news and have a flawed grip on what these people think of us.
i'm not sure i understand what you mean by "liberally controlled news". I know what these people think of us. They hate us because of what the "Templars" and Crusaders did back in circa 1100 A.D. From that point on, the "WEST" is evil. Now, it is our (U.S.) foreign policy that is not acceptable. I've seen in the documentaries what is being taught in "schools", and places of "worship". Children and young people are being taught that the West is evil and that "they" (we, the West) must all die because we are "infidels".
