Thank you everyone for the nice comments and words of encouragement I did like chuck Norris but gage already gave it to one of the doviis he sold in the past
there are so many nice names offered in this thread it has made my decision tough but last nite I was hanging out with this guy trying to get him uses to human activity and it just hit me!! The name "Goliath"!!! I think it fits, although I'm still mulling it around in my head lol the other name that I liked alot was Leonidas so thank you for that Forrest, and if its not the one I choose I would love to use it later for a different fish if its still available
As for the baby no it's not my first, I have 2 boys from from previous relationship. But this is my wife and I first child together I love kids and being a father, very rewarding!! In fact my youngest son 8 is going to be left in charge feeding this dovii during the two weeks while I'm at work every month. So he's excited and my wife is relieved cause she won't touch any food that is live, wet or frozen lol

Lol thanks guys I got him eating every day now. Just finished with parasite treatment too so far this guy is eating frozen krill, live fish, nite crawlers, and frozen mice so far so good, now I'm gonna fill feeders with pellets and get him used to anything that hits the water means food so I can try pellets again
