Well, for now, I’ve been sticking with the red wigglers. He’s been doing great and hasn’t had any more issues with bloat. He has been eating a lot too. I usually feed two red wigglers in the morning, and two at night (sometimes three if they’re pretty small), and he has started eating all of them within a few minutes of them hitting the water. I plan on bulking him up a bit, and then going through the pellet challenge.

I'd imagine the worms would be perfect for bulking. My guess is they probably more nutritious than tilapia..... i need to start offering worms again

I tend to agree with you on this. I think a lot of views of food nutrition come from making the wrong comparisons. For example, over in the discus world they compare the nutrition of frozen bloodworms to freeze dried black worms. Obviously, the freeze dried black worms have no moisture content, so they show as much higher in protein. However, when you compare frozen black worms to frozen bloodworms, they are extremely similar in their nutrition content. Now, when you compare live red wigglers or night crawlers to frozen black or blood worms, the live worms are much higher in nutrition.

Yeah keep on with the worms. Whole foods are better. But like you stated before he needs to get on pellets better nutrition and easier too.

Lookin good man, he'll be puttin on size in not time

I think he’s been growing thicker rather than longer right now. His head is not the widest part of his body anymore. Lol. He eats and poops like crazy. He gets pretty much a 100% water change each weekend, so there’s plenty of clean water to keep him healthy.

Looking good! I don't know if i missed it in the thread but have you got him to take pellets yet?

I know once my endli started taking pellets his growth jumped by a lot. He out grew my PBB that was larger than him after about a month or two. but the PBB was also picky too.
