I found a 12' 750 gallon tank

Tank sounds really great. Remember that think will weigh 2 tons maybe a little less and will be crazy to move also think if you can even get that tank into your House. My 10' tank was tight getting it in. Tanks that tall are allot of work but look really good. After moving multiple large tanks like this that are crazy heavy its no little task at all.

plus 1. and only 2 foot width kinda sucks. If i was to get a tank that big I would go at least 4 feet width

But then most standard door widths are thirty six inches...I'd really like to see some pictures of this tank.

Offer half price. 2k at most.

Its easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

If the dimensions and the price work out well then go for it. I'm a bad example - first thing my girlfriend knew about my last tank purchase was when I got a call about it being delivered the next day.... On the upside it meant she got to rearrange the whole living room without me complaining...

I say go for it - Keep the wife in it till she concedes it's awesome and you were right to buy it.

at that size, not worth having in your garage if your not going to use it! when tanks that size sit for years its bad

Love the idea of a 12 foot tank but your a mad man for thinking of taking on this build if its 1000 gallons thats is 10000 lbs w/ water plus thats a 200 gallon water change each month your wife would KILL YOU if you bought that
