Private pet stores are always the best, especially the ones that refuse sale based on customers current setup!
Its a nice OB peacock. OB's have a blue strain that is very attractive. I dont see very many of them. You will know if the fish was hormoned if its colors fade in a month or two. OB's are a man made fish (hybrid and or line bred) Line bred is different than hybrid but most people lump it in as the same. I hybridized my red OB female peacock with my male stuartgranti, they were orange , white and black for many months , now they are developing purple blue all over. Im very excited about them, cant wait to see how dark the blue/purple gets.

Blue use to be less common, and you would see more orange, but as of late the blue has exploded, and that is all I have seen anymore. I know many people lump, but OB are not linebreed. They are hybrids. Not because of lumping, but because they are a cross.
