Hey their bud.... nice catch.... just let him be.... if your going to try to put food in his tank observe it and dont just leave the food coz if ever your aro dosnt eat it, it will just foul the water.... 10-15% WC every two days so that his injuries will heal quickly.... also 1tbspn of rock salt every 10gal. try SW... aro also loves SW or MP.... as long as he is swimming properly, its a good sign that his getting well.... dont be bothered if his not eating well right now... its just probably getting used to its new tank... give it atleast a week.... after that it will feed regularly....

he is looking well,he will make it,if he survived in a petshop than there should be no way that he would not survive with you =)

agree,most fish's that grow big usually grow very fast.
 
Good luck man, I hope he pulls through!

Obviously just keep the water quality pristine... watch the food you throw in so it doesn't just rot overnight and bring the quality down.

I'm optimistic... this'll be one of your favourite fish, and when he is huge you'll have a good story!

Some good news.. i made a small trip to my LFS (Petsmart) got like 10 crickets....

So far he's eaten two already.. GOOD NEWS!!

Ya.. i'm def gonna do some water changes again soon.. but so far he's doing very well... I also got a vitamin and mineral pyramid, just to give him some extra boost of vitamins he's lacking..
