well he could have bred BGK it has happened here in states too but all incidents i know of were accidents where the person got lucky and just noticed tiny BGK swimming in the tank one day, but yeah i was reading something about it (cant remember the site now or i would post the article) but it was something like they put pairs in separate tanks and then had like this tube that ran over the tops of the tank that continuously brought in fresh water and rained it down into the tanks (i guess their breeding season is triggered by the rainy season) i thought it was interesting but then i have no idea how valid these claims are as iv only read about it in one place and i think if they are doing this they are keeping their methods secret, and thats awesome where is the post with those photos they must be so awesome, they seriously get all the awesome fish over there

Haha, wanna bet. Australia is a poohole for variety. I can't get 1/3 of what you americans have available. Take knifes for example, we can have BGK, Brown Ghost Knifes, CK and RoyalCK. Prices?
$20 for a BGK
$50-80 for a Brown Ghost (and they are extrememly rare)
$200-$400 for a normal CK
$300-$500 for a RCK
$750+ for CK varietys
Thats it. I would love to have a zebra knife fish, or a tamandua, but noooo. So sucks.

yeah BGK are 20 around here too though i got lucky and got mine for 15

thats crazy though kind of good they arent as cheap as here as alot of people end up buying them as impulse buys without realizing how big they get, but sucks for you guys that would take great care of one and have to pay so much!

It stops idiots buying them and releasing them. But still, the AQIS could be a little less stringent about what fish can come or not. I mean what is wrong with uaru fernandepyezi or true parrots.
