Its not a bad price, paid $30 for my Red Devil a couple weeks ago at the same size. Looking at your, it might have some Vieja in it but I wouldn't worry about it being sterile. Yours should be able to breed now.

Someone probably tried to make a homemade Rose Queen and this was one of the many offspring that didn't get many Vieja genes. Its defiantly a hybrid.

Disagree...no vieja and I don't think anyone was trying to make homemade rosequeens. He just got jipped by an LFS that sold a fish as something else. I hate when they do that.

i know this fish..
very easy to catch this fish just use net with the rod...
i can catch 3-5 this kind of fish on 1 night..
at malaysia we call "ikan merah" = "red fish"

and wondering to tell u...
i seem this fish with a lot of pealr spots
maybe he was crossbreed with something...
