I do...but where to start?!

Those cute little excavators (pocket steam shovels) cost $200 a day (plus $50 delivery and fuel).

Don't your parents have a pond?
ya they have a nice sized pond
drop a fish in say bye bye lol
cant catch it again
pbass and lmb will destroy any chance of growing any babies lol
all the preds
so on so on.lol
:D

Reason I asked about the parents pond...

http://www.n55.dk/MANUALS/FISHFARM/FISHFARM.html

3 minnow seines sewn together would give you a 4'x4'20' and float it with some 4" PVC around the top.

1) Cheap

2) No filtering

3) No digging

4) Can be divided into smaller areas

5) easily movable

6) did I mention NO digging

Might consider making you next tank out of window screen material too:ROFL:(did you forget where we live, we don't have dirt:nilly:).

Dig deep, water table fluctuates and we're still in a drought so it's going to get lower.

What are you wanting to raise for this get rich quick scheme anyway?

still working on that.lol
got an idea?
im thinkin, maybe my pbass will breed in the big pond.
then i can net a few hundred pbass babies and raise them in the new pond.
i have unlimited free feeders. :naughty:
Track hoes are pretty cheap for a daily rental.
ya about 200 a day
my dads buddy has one, hoping we can barrow it for like a 100 bucks.lol

so today my mom showed me a more open spot i could use in the backyard..
ground level is higher so i would have to dig a bit deeper.
but it is more open and a better spot were thinking.

If your water gets cold and you don't have the depth for them to go to there isn't much that will overwinter in a pond other than koi. Remember this - deeper is warmer in the winter!

I agree that a waterfall is the best source for putting ox into the pond. If you have the space make a stream and have the water run over a rocky bed, the more the water is circulated the better.
