iv been involved with training, breedin dogs at the highest level for longer than i care to rember, and thankfully ive only seen one fight that would have ended in death if human intervention was not on hand iv learnt from the masters a lot about dogs and life, but ill never stop learing about mans best freind.
ok and just to clarify my 1st post on the matter reds avatar had a hunting breed and the photo was also a hunting breed, so i gave that advice baced on what i saw,
red came on and told me she only has a loveable collie around and it was even worred about his freind,so no worrys there.
you seem to have agreed with me now tho,the fact remains if you have several dogs in your household. if you leave home, just put this dog in an extra room. if the seizure comes over him again and nobody is around to help, maybe the others will attack him in his helpless situation. just some advice,
ok as it truns out red did not need this advice, but its up ther for any one to see and take it from me prevention is better than cure,or to put in in lay mans terms, a stich in time saves 9 :chillpill:

red how is she to day

OK but just because its a hunting breed doesn't meen that it will attack. it depends on the personality,
and the only reason that i commented was because the way it was worded seemed like you said that all dogs will attack but clearly you do not think that.

Nobody thinks that.. you gave good advice.. in some instances this is very good information... dogs are all different.. and breeds are different...etc.. so i think that was nice of you to give a warning even if it does not pretain to my situation..

thanks for asking.. she is doing very well.. since you are schooled in seizures etc.. if she really did have a seizure which i am positive it was.. some seizures do not cause a dog to react.. right.. some seizures just let them collapse and lay there.. thats what she did..?? here are my dogs pics..

Liz,
Sorry to hear that your dog is ill. It's very painful when our beloved pets become ill. Last month my poor cat saw four different vets in 9 days and was put to sleep twice for tests, ultrasounds, biopsies, etc. Besides bad polycystic kidney disease (they can't believe her tests were normal) they thought she had advanced liver disease, so she was referred to a specialist. All we can do is love our pet family members while while they grace our lives with their presence.
