I have treated the whole tank too sometimes ..different reasons.. sometimes a fish is too hard to remove.. with out the fear of more injury etc.. sometimes other fish just look slightly sick... but most of the time i have a small quarenteen tank that i use just for recupering fish or a new fish that i just purchased.. never put new fish into the tank with out quarenteen first ..for at least a couple of weeks.. also the small tank costs less to medicate.. and not good to medicate healthy fish if you can help it..and usually this gives sick fish a chance to chill and get better with out anyone bothering it.... but if you do not have a choice it is okay..good luck with recoveryCornBread;3453655; said:there is no white dots or any wierd marks or anything on the fish but i do see the clear poop floating around very little though but still like the other guy said he is treating his oscar for.
