A friend of mine got attacked by a squirrel yesterday at the park. We were all minding are own business when a squirrel jumps out of a tree at him. Luckly he didn't get bit.

Fair enough youse are shooting the squirrils, I'm gonna get the old air rifle out and shoot me some Koalas .8D
I don't understand why you need to go out and kill them....
Give them a separate bowl of food outside and most likely they'll take it from there instead.
Remember, its not their fault they are running out of habitat to live in. We've chopped down the forests the least we can do is accommodate them now. I'm not a tree hugging hippy or whatever but these animals are trying to adapt to a world we've created.

So youse hate the squirrels because they sometimes attack people? Crocodiles attack and kill people, doesn't mean I hate em and go out and kill them. 8) As far as I know squirrels are native to the U.s anyways aren't they? It's sorta like me killing off koalas or kangaroos, or even tasmanian devils because I think they are vermin. Youse will miss the squirrels when they are gone.
If you guys are talking about me, I don't have a gun. Nor do I kill them all the time. I'm just relocating them. The squirrels don't want to be wild. There's a big forest on the side of my neighborhood, but during the 10 years I've lived here I have only seen maybe 3 squirrels in there. And I walk there quite often. They WANT to be fed by humans, they WANT to steal food. All cause it's so easy. People here feed the squirrels all the time, then they come to my house and run inside when I open the door. Then I waste a few days trying to get em out. And after that I take my duck outside, then they taunt him by running up to him then back. Scaring the heck out of him. They steal my Peacocks expensive food. 60$ a bag. There are just soooo many. After relocating 6-7 squirrels there is maybe around 5 eating out of my birdfeeder at this very moment. I would LOVE if there were only a few. And they had some natural predators around here.
They're pretty annoying creatures. They're always digging up my yard and landscaping. My neighbor loves them and he's always feeding them so I joke with him and tell him to "Stop breeding all those bushy-tailed tree rats!" Well over the winter one of the squirrels he feeds got injured and killed by this unusually colored Red-Tailed Hawk. It must have been really hungry because I took this video from about 7-8 feet away from it and it didn't even care. Payback's a bummer Mr. Squirrel.
