Canada... i wish.
ok everyone... im leaving on monday to Canada for two weeks. i plan on feeding my fish the day i leave, since i only feed them once a week, what do i do for the second week i am gone?:nilly::nilly::nilly: oh and i also plan on doing a water change this sunday to take care of that.

soo any advice???
 
What type of fish? If they're all larger fish you'll be fine. If it is a community tank i would recommend an automatic feeder.
 
Yeah I agree.....people seem to think that fish need to eat all the time. Now don't get me wrong cause I feed my fish every day. However think about how fish are in the wild environment. They may go a week or two without being able to find food and they are fine. I would feed them one or two really big meals before you leave and they will be good to go.

i would not .. that is going to mean .. more waste .. aka possible ammonia and such while your gone.

one nice big water change.. and then a normal feeding .. and you should be fine
 
I'm just wondering why you feed them only once per week?
 
ok the only fish i am worried about is my Angel and my sen(which is fairly new to the tank)... but my oscars, cats and eel should be fine.

water change will be done and normal feeding will be done too.

keeps my tank clean, because my oscars tend to make a mess of the tank. ive always fed my fish once a week. so they are use to it.

For an angel 2 weeks without food is pushing it. Are they all in the same tank?
