Nice, there on my list.....I have some A. Labiatus and right off the bat they are sweet......I mean from fry they are on it. For sure a personable species and can't wait to expand to some others. Girls always have issues with the hump......I don't understand?

He looks like a bad @$$. I want a fish that spits water at me. My Texas just aren't angry enough yet.

Thanks Nick! Yeah he is hands down my favorite fish or at least a close second to my dovii pair. The personality and aggression is completely different than that of other "glassbangers". My dovii want to eat your face, this guy wants see what you taste like then be proud of him for the water he just spit or splashed at you, it's very strange. Yeah what's up with the ladies and the nuchal humps???

wish a could find a traid in like that gorgeous

Thanks! :D I'm sure you see why I couldn't pass him up.

Thanks! :D It's very strarge but it's not like he does it out of anger more like a kid wanting attention. Either way it's super funny watching my wife and kids get soaked!!! I doubt my H. carpintis will ever act like this guy. They spawned again tonight and are sleeping by comparison to him.

Very nice! Looks great. What a beast. My wife doesn't get the hump either. Definately a girl thing lol

Thanks John. Yeah I don't know any women who find a nuchal hump even tollerable, your right it must be a girl thing.. They come around after interacting with them for a few days though.

Awesome! I bet his goldfish tank mates were pretty beastly to put up with that big boy! :)

She told me they were feeders that he would not eat and grew out with him. The original owner tried feeders and it didn't work so he was raised on hikari gold. So were the goldfish I would assume!
