i picked out a red devil from a batch from a breeder he was the smallest and most colorful with white and orange, all the others were almost 5times his size and perfectly normal... 2months later i found out he was a short body red devil he is just round looking LOL
There monster fish for a reason, the sizes of them is typically what make them so popular.. if you only had a 8 inch red tail he would barely swim around since he would actually be full and not hungry out 'looking for food' aka active.
