I feel your pain! My pup only wants to sit with me and chew on my fingers and toes! 
only guys have hobbies like these... rarely do girls have hobbies to take up their time except for shopping. 
alot of you males are being mean,,
everybody that comes over likes my fish they allways find something they think is interesting, but about the male and female thing,,, ive swallowed plecostomus poop and love to pet my fish.. and my boyfriend thinks hes dying from inhailing evaporating poop water,, and hes allways whining about how fish are ugly, nasty, slimy, gross things that i shouldnt be keeping in glass boxes. im mad more ladies dont like fish just so this thread would lean a different way, nobody likes shopping,, unless they are rich. but fish shopping is the best....from experience at a fishstore id say its equally men women families and couples buying or looking at fish , just this site is male dominated, thats okay but just dont think cuz the females you know dont like fish as much as you, or like to shop that any other female in the world is anything like that...

okay guys,, you win , i just have to clarify something though,, after a billion water changes going as planned , yes,, one time i did have water shoot down my throat , i placed the end of the tube in the gravel started to suck, my a.d.d got me and I drifted into lala land, once i realized what was going on, it was to late i had allready swallowed enough plecostomus poop water to make me sick just thinking about it. ---lol

no offense but its hard for me to imagine guys taking care of living things,,

If it wern't for me my man would not be into fish like he is, but I am into it way more than him. He helps me out by cleaning the 3 big tanks we have, and all of the equiptment. I have the other 4 to take care of...lol....
I have always been into keeping fish, since I was about 17 years old, and my friends were always giving me crap for it.....
