I used to trade fish in that were unruly or just weren't working out to my LFS. He told me that he would only give me 25% of what he sold them back for...I reluctantly agreed. I did this only a couple of times, and then I found out what was really happening. I had brought my male JD in and I only got 5 bucks for him as he said he could only get 20 for him. I did it and for some reason I can't remember I had to get something I had forgotten. It had been say 30 minutes after I had handed the fish over, and I just happened to pass the display tank that the turn ins were kept in and the price tag was at 50 for a Jack Dempsey well lo and behold it was mine. I was furious to say the least at what this dude was pulling behind my back...goes to show not all are your friendly around the corner mom and pop stores that they put off.
