Damn that's pretty cold. I'm sure it'll take more than couple days. Mine always spawned in 78+ normally over 80. So you need to just watch them. When they hatch they'll disappear in gravel. Id bump tank temp up,fry be slow n weak at low 70s
 
They dig a nest in gravel or sand. I've never seen rbp spawn on slate(or anything else other than the sub). They're not cichlids. Besides that's the cue to suck them out,when they fall in gravel.

vacumed out the fry today. put them in a 20. i know its not the optimal sized tank. but its what i have right now.crossing my fingers i can get through the next few steps.and get them to fish filets
 
ahh sooo exiting !!!! im going to bruner if i ever get this lucky
 
bruner is the one thats got me this far.very appreciative for his help.all the eggsacks are gone. i have the money right now to pick up what i need to do brine shimp but not the time this week to get it.i have been grinding up a few krill, and some aquadine fish food. they seem to be eating. egg sack has been gone for 3 days or so
