I have spring fever BAD!

I'd love to get a boat, but that'll be WAY down the road if it ever happens.

I do have a new rod and reel to try out this spring, though. And I've spent around $100 in the last 2 days on new field equipment for a natural history course I'm taking this quarter.

I've spent as much in accessories as I have on the boat. However, it's a reliable boat and I cant find another that I like for a reasonable price. Most of the stuff I have will transfer to a new boat if I get one. Right now the trailer is just OK, and I need to get it perfect since I like to be on the water and not on the side of the road haha.

I've looked for transom savers and I cant find one that will fit. It doesn't have power tilt and trim and the upright position is as high as it will move. It has been without a transom saver for almost 40 years so I'm not too worried about it haha.

me and my dad took a block of wood and notched it to fit snug under the motor bracket and we hold it all down with big bungies.. it works lol

you have a merc i see .i had a merc 150 and about every 3 years i had to replace the impeller .real easy to do and check .you might want to check that before the season

I'm going to do that before I go out on the water. It was done last year, but it's easy enough to do so I'll change it again.

The tabs to hold it up work just fine on this boat. It's solid as hell

I'm very lucky to have keys to that. My dad has a lawn and garden business and he got the lift so he's not bending over all day to work on stuff. He also has a motorcycle lift for the same reason.

Yeah, I know all about other addictions. I not only keep fish and reptiles, but I also have 5 guitars. Factor in the field equipment (partially another hobby, but will eventually be part of my career) and college, and I'm pretty much always broke...
