One thing I would add if you don't already have one is a transom-saver. If you haven't seen one, it's a support that attaches to the back of the trailer and lifts the motor. It will increase the ground clearance of your motor (it looks a little sketchy in the photo) and take most of the stress off your transom.

I've got a 25 HP Four-Stroke Bigfoot Mercury with an 11-pitch prop. I also have a 13-pitch prop which is faster, but I'm often pretty loaded down so I always use the 11.

Hey Levi. I know I had mention that I wanted to go boating/fishing, but I just heard from a good friend of mine and he said I couldn't go unless he came with me. Hopefully you don't mind if he comes along for the ride. He said he might even brings some other friends as well.
