Why do you feel that way Dixon?

Some things I like about England are the enourmous variety of healthy snack food, the pubs and bars, and the art/music scene. And also the tanks and fish, the fact that many things are freely available, there's a big second hand market etc, I can buy all the clothes I like in london, 60's boots etc.

I love France very much, though from the looks of things it's not much better than Spain for monster fish and big tanks.

Part of the reason for wanting to move back is practicality, to properly market my business I should really be in the UK as that's where my customers are primarily. So far since I started, all the customers have been english, apart from one person from New York.

Sqratch - that's the main thing that spoils England for me, all the damn chavs and lager louts. I'm not a scaredy cat by any means, I'll fight if I have to, but I just don't like the atmosphere it creates. I like a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. And going out at night in london or brighton you jsut don't get that, too many drunk *******s about. England would be great if the chav factor was cut right down.

One thing I would like to add, before coming to Spain I felt like I hated England, but sometimes when you live somewhere there are many things you take for granted. England is a much better country than Spain for example, so much better. Cleaner, nicer looking, nicer people other than the chavs, better hosuing, central heating, people look after animals more etc.

And even though rent is extortionate in England - the wages make up for it.

Here the wages are a ****ing disgrace. In a job in England where I could earn 25/30 grand a year, here in Spain I would earn 7000 euros a year hahahahaha. 5 grand a year. The living costs are not that low to warrant the awful wages. Most people here live with their parents into their 30's etc.

There is also far less bureaucracy in England than Spain, things are much easier.
