I just had a thought...

I agree with the mod, but just some serious insight about caging fish. I had a festae who was getting beaten up, and since it was midnight, I was going to wait till the next day to transfer her. So I got a tupperware, poked a LOT of holes in it (seriously, it had more holes than plastic), and left the festae floating. The next day it was almost dead. Water just doesn't flow well in closed containers, no matter how ventilated. It stagnates. You might very easily lose the trapped fish.

When you have a problem with an overly aggressive cichlid.. Couldn't you submerge a hamsterball in the tank and put the cichlid in it? I've trapped my firemouth under a flower pot for being an ass but that won't work with a bigger cichlid (but it did fix my aggression problem). Lol This could be just a really stupid idea.. but.. shutup..

Time outs for fish??? :screwy:
